Bookings

How do I book an appointment?

Book online 24/7 through our Book Now button, call the salon on 07 5543 4094 during opening hours, or email bookings@canungrabeauty.com.au. Online bookings are confirmed instantly.

What are your opening hours?

Tuesday to Friday 9am–5pm (Wednesday till 7pm) and Saturday 9am–1pm. We're closed Sunday and Monday. Over Christmas we close from 5pm Wednesday 23 December and reopen Thursday 7 January 2027.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes — a 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings. Your deposit is deducted from the total cost of your treatment on the day. See our Booking Policy for full details.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice so we can offer the time to another client. You can reschedule through your booking confirmation email or by calling us. Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of your appointment will result in your deposit being forfeited — see our Booking Policy.

Can I walk in without a booking?

We're a small salon and are often fully booked, so we recommend booking ahead. If you're passing by, feel free to pop in and we'll fit you in if we can.

Your Visit

Is Canungra Beauty women only?

Yes. We're a women's-only salon, creating a relaxed, private space where you can switch off and enjoy your treatment.

Where are you located and is there parking?

We're at Shop 1/38 Christie Street, Canungra QLD 4275, in the heart of the village. Free street parking is available on Christie Street and nearby.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your appointment so we can get you settled. If you're running late, give us a call — we'll do our best to fit your treatment into the remaining time.

Can I bring my children?

For safety and so every client can relax, we ask that children don't attend appointments unless they're being treated. Please let us know if you need help arranging a suitable time.

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely — if you'd both like treatments, let us know when booking and we'll do our best to schedule you side by side.

Treatments

I've never had a facial before. Which one should I choose?

Start with a consultation. Our therapists will look at your skin, talk through your goals and recommend the right facial for you. If you're unsure, simply book a Skin Wellness Facial and we'll tailor it on the day.

Is there anything I should avoid before a treatment?

For waxing, let hair grow to about 5mm (around 2–3 weeks) and avoid exfoliating the day before. For facials and skin treatments, avoid active skincare (retinol, acids) for 48 hours beforehand unless advised otherwise. For spray tans, exfoliate the day before and arrive with clean, product-free skin.

Do you offer treatments during pregnancy?

Many of our treatments are safe during pregnancy, but some aren't recommended. Please let us know when booking and we'll guide you to suitable options.

Can I have a treatment if I have a skin condition or allergies?

Please tell us about any medical conditions, medications, allergies or sensitivities when you book. We may recommend a patch test (for example before lash tinting) at least 24–48 hours before your appointment.

What products do you use?

We use professional-grade brands including ASAP skincare and Lash Therapy, chosen for their results and suitability for Australian skin. Retail products are available in-salon so you can continue your routine at home.

Payments & Gift Vouchers

How can I pay?

We accept EFTPOS, credit card and cash in salon. Online bookings may require card details to secure your appointment.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes — gift vouchers are available online 24/7 for any value and can be used towards any treatment or product. Shop gift vouchers here.

How long are gift vouchers valid?

Gift vouchers are valid for three years from the date of purchase, in line with Australian Consumer Law. They're not redeemable for cash.
